Crazy Day at Cheney Middle School

These were too good not to post on my blog! This was a little over a month ago for the kids' spirit week at school. Curtis wanted to do a mohawk in his hair but since we carry very few hair products at our house and plenty of pony's this is what I came up with and he was willing to try. What a good sport! Jerika did her own hair and they both stayed up really late the night before making those necklace type things that Curtis is wearing. He looked it up online and found some directions and they went to work with Phil's twine and Jerika's beads. It is fun to see them work together. They would never admit it but they are great friends!

Nik's Favorite Scripture

Remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.
Helaman 5:12

Phil's Favorite Scripture

Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men.
Alma 48:17
