I'm so excited! I was playing around with my playlist account last night and decided I would attempt to grab all the music I am teaching the Primary children this year for the program and put it on my blog for my family to listen to. This will be a great way for my kids to hear the music often and we can use it for FHE also. There are quite a few songs this year that are left up to the music leader or the Primary Presidency to choose. I was told I could go ahead and pick them so I finally made up my mind. I went on to figure out I could send out a link by email to my playlist. Now I am going to try and get it to all the families in our ward. What a great tool! There is so much church music available on the website playlist.com and it is very easy to use. If you want to find mine you can go to the website and search for niknfil's playlist. I think I have 3 or 4 now.
you can go to the church website and download the songs there, just wouldn't go to your playlist. in years past the primary presidency has given each family a cd with the songs on it so we can play it in the car or where ever...wish they would have done it for this year...but i went ahead and did my own anyhow...
ReplyDeleteYes we have received those in the past also but I did not want to go purchase blank cd's and try to download all the music. This was a much easier process for me and way more cost effective for the church. People can just pull it up online and listen to it all they want and there are no lost or scratched cd's going to waste. I do regret not having a cd for the car but I can do my own for that purpose, as can other people who want one now that they have the list of songs readily available.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I may have to find out what songs our leader chose and make one for us!
